Grew up on the family farm Quindoo Park at Roseworthy [parents were Bruce and Marie Kerr]. Married Kenneth Lindley Barnet in September 1943.
Moved to Gawler and assisted in the running of the family business (The Bunyip Newspaper), and ran the house with 4 sons to bring up.
