James F. Busbridge was elected Gawler Councillor for North Ward 1883 to 1884.


James Busbridge Jnr. was elected Gawler Councillor for South Ward 1903 to 1905 and again 1917 to 1919 and again 1927 to 1928. He was elected Mayor of Gawler in 1920 to 1921, and again 1929 to 1930.
