Hannah Mckell - Gawler Pet Care
'Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall' Hannah was born at Lyell McEwen Hospital in 1990, recently turning 30. Her parents first moved to Gawler when she was the age of 3. She then lived in multiple suburbs including Prospect, Pooraka and Para Hills, returning to Gawler at the age of 19.
Hannah comes from a background of retail and customer service. She then worked at the Willaston Hotel in 2013/2014 which she thoroughly enjoyed, however decided it was time for a change. Hannah started her own Dog Walking and Pet Sitting business late 2014 formally known as Gawler Dog Walking and Pet Care. She recently changed the name to Gawler Pet Care as she is now working casually in her business and working part time as a kennel hand with Guardian Angel Animal Rescue. She enjoys contributing to their successful team and giving the surrendered dogs love and care.
'I adore dogs, especially my own. I connect to them emotionally and spiritually. I love their loyalty, playfullness and affection. I have met some wonderful clients, associates and dogs since working in this industry. I believe I will keep working with dogs for some time. Some make me laugh with their cheeky characteristics and personalities.' Hannah has faced a lot of difficult times during her life however her greatest strength is perseverance. She feels the love of her own dogs, Bonnie and Clyde, have helped her face life's trials and tribulations.
Hannah loves the heritage buildings of Gawler, and enjoys being around the pretty parks and trees that Gawler has to offer. She tries to be grateful for the simple things in life. In her spare time she enjoys music, photography, time with friends, relaxing and watching sport.
'Nature grounds me and gives me peaceful things to think about. I have been learning a lot about self love the past two years however it is always a constant practice. Realising there is so much more to us than just our physical appearance or how others treat you. So many things shape us to who we are as a person'.
'A pretty face gets old, a nice body will change, but a good woman will always be a good woman'.
Hannah looks forward to continuing to work on her self development and is hands down Gawler's greatest DOG LOVER!
