Description: William Bywaters was the son of William Wesseldine Bywaters and Sarah Anne Bywaters (nee Nottle). Obituary: Bunyip - Friday 28th May 1954. '''Death of Well-known Resident, Mr. Bywaters.''' The sudden death of Mr William George Bywaters on Sunday deprived Gawler of a well-known and widely esteemed resident. He had been Tyler to the three local Masonic Lodges for 30 years and as a member of the Foresters' Lodge since 1898 had occupied the position of Chief Ruler on three occasions and was also a Trustee.
