This week negotiations were completed for the purchase of land once occupied by the Perry Engineering Co., taken over sometime ago by Mr. J.C. Taylor who established an ice works on part of the property. Henderson's Spring Works will occupy land with a frontage of 45-ft. to Calton Road, and 240-ft. to High Street. Intentions are to begin erecting factory premises sometime in March. <sup>1</sup> '''Will Spring Works Open Next Year?''' Representatives of Henderson's Federal Spring Works Ltd. who prepared a factory in Gawler about two years ago, but have never occupied the premises, were in Gawler last week. Although nothing definite is known, it is thought possible the plant may be opened next year.
