A good way to get to Reid Reserve by car is to exit off Ryde Street (at the roundabout by the RSL hall), travel north to the end of Gosford Street, park the car at the end of Gosford street and cross the verge to the new bridge [built by Council parallel to the Railway Line Bridge], cross the bridge and you are into Reid Reserve. Walking from the east to the west, off Lawrence Avenue is a pathway which meets up with the path from Princes Park [Gawler Rec Centre]. The path continues west under the bridge [rail line from Gawler Railway Station to Gawler Central station] and 200 yards later continues under the next Railway Line Bridge [Gawler to Roseworthy] to connect to the new Council bridge across the river.
