Description: 'Alf' William Alfred Price (1 December 1915 - 30 June 1988). Jean Price (nee Alma Jean Gosden)(4 March 1924 - 1 March 2013). Alf Price served in WWII: 2nd AIF WW2, Driver, SN VX89632, 121st General Transport Company. Jean Price served in the Australian Women's Land Army. Jean appears in the 1988 documentary movie, 'Thanks, Girls, and Goodbye' speaking of her experiences in the Land Army. She served for about one and a half years before leaving to marry Alf, they are both in their uniforms in their wedding portrait. In 1967 the couple were living in Mallala and Alf was working as a Railway Ganger, when they purchased their home at 5 [[Fifth Street]], Gawler South.<ref name=":0">5 Fifth Street Gawler South - Certificate of Title CT 1021/200 </ref> They were still living there in 1988 when Alf passed away.<ref name=":0" /> Alf & Jean are buried at [[Willaston Cemetery]] (Plot 4 AA 1 - with their son Trevor William Price (6 Feb 1945 - 18 Aug 1969)).
