[[File:7169311678 64beb797cd o.jpg|left|thumb]] The Trinity College story begins in 1984 when a small group of committed families from Gawler began operation with 27 students in the hall at St George’s Anglican Church, in Cowan Street, Gawler. In 1985 the College moved to its current location of Alexander Avenue in Evanston Park. Since then Trinity College has undergone significant growth and development but remains an institution that adheres to its founding principles. The vision and pioneering spirit of dedicated staff, parents and students has seen Trinity College grow into an extraordinary educational institution offering Preschool to Year 12. Now into its third decade of operation, Trinity College has become widely recognised for the realisation of its stated ethos - excellence for all. The College has become one of the State‘s leading independent schools, widely recognised for its high quality academic and vocational programmes, excellent staff, nurturing environment and superb facilities. The College is open to all who would like their children educated in a liberal and Anglican tradition regardless of their economic status or religious affiliation. One College, five schools (Trinity College Senior, Blakeview, Gawler River, North, South and our Montessori Preschool) feature state-of-the-art facilities, modern comfortable classrooms and landscaped grounds. There is also plenty of room to move; the North and South schools are located on 100 acres, whilst Blakeview and Gawler River are situated on over 20 acres each. Each school has its own full-time staff, ensuring children receive special care and attention, no matter which school is attended. Trinity College established a Foundation in 1995 that offers scholarships to internal and external students, as well as supporting a building and library fund. In 2000 Trinity College opened a not-for-profit school and community fitness and well-being centre: STARplex. The book 'From Dusty Paddock' outlines the history of Trinity College. It is available to borrow from the College Library.
