Calton Road is situated in the centre of Gawler's busy shopping district and starts at Murray Street and goes through the suburbs of Gawler East and Kalbeeba. Calton road has alot of importance to the history of Gawler such as James Martin & Co. Foundry built around 1880. The original facade of this building still stand today.
