Viviana Diaz - Inspire Me Photography

"Photography Is a passion, it doesn't feel like work. I'm very lucky in that respect..."

Viviana Diaz runs inspire me photography a local photography business helping both amateurs and advanced photographers discover their inspiration along with teaching basic and advanced photography skills.

Originally from Mexico City Viviana and her family have been in South Australia for 14 yrs. Originally settling at Redwood Park she came to Gawler in 2008. It was a big move from Mexico to Australia, but she felt that for the safety of her family and work opportunities it was for the best. It was a huge contrast between the two countries, and she had many hurdles such as language and no family support but is so thankful and happy in Australia. Before landing in Australia her studies gained her a bachelor’s in media communication and this opened up the doors to further her studies even more after she moved to San Francisco to hone her photography skills. Australia has provided a great place for her to start and raise a family.

Inspire Me Photography offers an environment where young and old students are welcome as are inexperienced and experienced students, and even those that (like me!) need a bit of a refresher course! Viviana will provide the opportunities to be with like-minded people who want to explore their passion or hobby. Inspire Me Photography also offers weekend retreats to picturesque places like Burra and Lake Bonney. You can also partake in all day workshop excursions to places like Port Adelaide onboard The One and All sail ship. Evening and weekend workshops are provided at The Salvation Army- Riverside Gawler and Viviana is also the person to talk to for gallery space and any support needed to put up your own exhibition.

She wished to live a nice quite life and felt that Gawler would be good because of the community spirit and tight nit community. She enjoys that Gawler really is the, "Best of town country" and loves the people and relaxed lifestyle and all of the opportunities in and around Gawler. "It's nice and central!" She doesn't focus too much on one particular style of photography. Instead, she enjoys exploring her creativity and different photography techniques and is always very, "in the moment".

She also works for Scene to Believe a company that provides interactive photo experiences that build brand awareness and brings special events to life. They provide Santa photography sets all around Australia, including Santas Magic Cave at David Jones in Adelaide! She is the manager of training and development and manages to balance her duties between the two jobs quite well. They are both great outlets for her creativity.

"I personally enjoy upskilling young people"

She enjoys time with her family of four boys and husband. They're always exploring the great outdoors and getting among nature. Cooking, reading, and walking are also great past times of hers.
