| Town or Locality: | Gawler |
| Year constructed: | c. 1850 |
Located on the north-western corner of the intersection of Dundas Street and Todd Street, this site is part of Lot 38 in the original Gawler Town Plan. The remaining row cottages were originally set up as five cottages, they were owned and tenanted out by the Mold family [see James Mold] from 1851 until 1951. In 1911, the council inspector's report described it as "a row of five attached small houses of three rooms each. The bedrooms are small and stuffy. There should be ventilation through, the walls between the bedroom and front rooms. There are only two closets [long drop toilets] standing on an oblong hole for the five houses. There is no partition in the closets between the seats and there was an offensive small in the leeward closet.”[1]
In 2026 the building is divided into 2 residences, 4 & 6 Dundas Street.
