Description: Pastor at the Gawler Lutheran Parish 1972 – 1975 As a retired Pastor living in Tanunda, Pastor Mattiske served the Gawler Lutheran Parish 2 days a week as an assistant pastor to Pastor Sander. His main work was to visit elderly members in their homes and in aged-care facilities. His work marked the beginning of regular devotions in those facilities. Pastor Mattiske died unexpectedly while attending a meeting of pastors in the Langmeil Lutheran Church in Tanunda.
