Miss Noack lived in a large house on the northern side of Adelaide Road next to the Mill Inn Bridge. She gave Brian Thom piano lessons from 1958 to 1960 but she gave up trying to teach music theory. Accordingly tunes like Campanella and Furelise were memorized sufficiently to enable a reasonable performance at the end of year concert.
