Harry Goss Bray was born in 1882, son of James Bray of Gawler River.[1][2]
Henry Goss Bray was Gawler Councillor for South Ward in 1934 and then again 1941 to 1945. He was then elected to be Councillor for Evanston Ward 1945 to 1947.
He established business in Gawler in 1913, and eventually went on to trade as "H G Bray and Son"; in 1950 his store was located at 47 Adelaide Road and sold smallgoods, medicines, groceries, seeds, confectionary, fruit & vegetables.[3]
Son William Morrow Bray was born in 1912,[4] and became a partner in the business in 1937.[2]
Harry Goss Bray died in 1968,[5] aged 85, and was buried at Willaston Cemetery (plot 24 L 4), with wife nee Mary Morrow.
