Emma Ey was a member of the St John Ambulance Nursing Division. In 1941, she sat for and successfully passed Air Raid Precautions Examinations (WWII)

Emma Ey passed away at the age of 109 on November 18 1997. She was interred in St Georges Anglican Cemetery in Cheek Avenue Gawler East - shown below.
