Frank Dixon Harris was elected as Gawler Councillor for East Ward 1894 to 1896. He was elected as Mayor of Gawler in 1897 and 1898.
Resided at 'Glenalbyn', Blanch Street Gawler East - the property was sold to William Rice in 1923, who also went on to become a Gawler Mayor. [1]
