I began my nursing career at the Hutchinson Hospital Gawler in 1967 and completed my two years training there before transferring to the Lyell McEwin Hospital in Elizabeth two years later. I was married in the Todd St Methodist Church in 1971 and lived in Murray St Gawler for a year before moving Wasleys in 1972. I worked in Mallala Hospital as a Registered Nurse from 1973 to 1975, and we moved to Western Australia in 1976 where we still live today.
