William and Jane [née Brown] from Newry, came out on the Reliance in 1851. Their daughter Sarah was born at sea. They probably went straight to Gawler, as they knew the Reids of Clonlea. William went off to the goldfields but died on his return [I would suspect of TB]. He was buried in Pioneer Park, but there is no record. His son George William was buried there in1870 at the age of 16. He was he last interment within the Gawler Town Cemetery. He is listed under the surname of Sutton. His daughter Sarah married a Mr Lindow. She died after childbirth and the baby also died. They are buried at St Georges Anglican Cemetery on Cheek Avenue.
