CWA - Giving Service to the Community since 1940

Linda Bertram has been part of the Gawler Community for the past 19 years and has enjoyed being actively involved in many aspects of the local community through the Gawler Branch of the Country Woman’s Association (CWA) and also worked with Regional and State Committees and is currently serving as State President of the CWA.

The CWA has been actively involved in community activities since 1940 with local women participating in a variety of work and activities during the war years and also during the following years when there have been fires, floods and other disasters.

Friendship and service to the local and wider community is a priority for women across the State. The women of Gawler through CWA have worked to assist with many community projects over the years.
