Ian Dawe has an extensive history with Gawler Show, entering his first exhibit in the show at the age of 14 in 1956. Mr Dawe went on to sit on the executive committee of the Gawler Agricultural Horticultural and Floricultural Society in 1988 which organizes the annual Gawler Show. Mr Dawe was also heavily involved in the Gawler Show Youth Committee, acting as President 2014.
Ian was a longtime member of the Gawler Apex Club and was president in 1981/82.
