Graham James Forgie was elected to Gawler Council to represent Church Hill Ward 1969 to 1980 and re-elected to that Ward 1982 to 1985. He was Deputy Mayor 1983 to 1985 and then 1987 to 1989, and appointed Alderman 1985 to 1989.
