'Joe' Leslie Joseph Jacob was born on 10 October 1998, in Melbourne, son of Cesir Jacob (also spelled Caeser Jacob).
He married Evelyn Hambour on 28 December 1921, they had at least two children - sons Leslie Warren Jacob (1922-1998) and Gordon Caesar Jacob (1923-1983).
Joe was the Founder of Timer Fashions and Gawler Manufacturing.
He died on 1 May 1970, aged 71, and Evelyn died 4 July 1974, aged 73. They are buried together at Willaston Cemetery (plot 21 BB 1).
