Matthew Johnson - Dan Murphys Gawler - Stoved - MAMMOTH

You've probably seen Matt looking a little bit different at Dan Murphy's where he'll be more than happy to sort you out with the best drinks available through his vast product range knowledge. On the flip side Matt is currently recording as a vocalist for the band Stoved. Stoved is a Groove Metal/Hard Rock Band located in the Western Suburbs of Adelaide. They write all original music, and have many influences, but their music always has a groove you can bang your head to... Matthew was also lead vocalist for long standing heavy metal band MAMMOTH

"Just think, Lynyrd Skynyrd on high doses of steroids + lots of Black Sabbath, Bourbon, weed, & a pinch of Crowbar/Down/COC." It's not all heavy metal though. Also, an accomplished guitarist Matt can also perform in a country/folk/alternative role and loves performing his own original music stemming from his time growing up in remote QLD. Matthew's indigenous heritage comes from the Kamilaroi from Northern NSW and the Wangkumurra in southeast NSW. A proud indigenous and family man Matt is currently recording a new album with Stoved and they can't wait to release it to the masses and also Mammoth will have some new material coming up too.
