Now and Then is an initiative of the Collections Council of Australia. www.collectionscouncil.com.au. The pilot implementation in Mallala was funded by a grant from the .auda foundation.

Now and Then is designed to be used by communities small and large to record and share information about life in their places, both past and present.  Our goal is to establish a network of Now and Then communities across Australia that are self-sustaining using a common platform to promote the preservation and understanding of Australia's cultural heritage.

The evaluation phase of the pilot project is now completed. We are interested in hearing from communities and organisations that would be interested in establishing their own Now and Then wiki community in the future.

Unfortunately, the Collections Council of Australia  ceased operations on 30 April 2010.  Management of the Now and Then project has been transferred to the project designer, Sweet Technology, an independent technology company based in Adelaide.  We are actively seeking additional funding to enable other communities to join Now and Then.

If you are interested in joing your community with Now and Then, or would just like further information, please contact us at the following email address:  communities@sweet.net.au.

We also welcome your thoughts and suggestions on possible improvements or additions.

Thank you for your interest.
