1A Moore Street is the contemporary address for the large allotment that fronts Light Square from Moore Street to Cowan Street, where the former Congregational Church (built 1861), original Congregational Chapel (built 1851) and Duffield Kindergarten Hall building (built 1913) stand. The allotment is lot 111 on the original Gawler Town Plan.
The site has been private property since the 1970s.
Extensive stone masonry repairs to the heritage boundary wall of the property, which had severely deteriorated, were undertaken c2025-2026.
