Ted & Tary - Hillier Farms

With backgrounds from Europe and Southeast Asia. Together they took inspiration and knowledge from their family farms to build their own. Ted's father ran an Ostrich farm in Mallala and after selling then set up at what is now Hiller Farms. After learning the same from friends and family Ted and Tary were inspired to take over the land and create Hillier Farms. Tary's family were hard workers creating produce in the Cambodian community in Burton and this was a real inspiration to them both. "..... we knew he (Ted's father) had the land here and we knew we could do something here, together. We're looking at ways we can be out here and be self-sufficient, independent." Hillier Farms was properly established in 2020. Chickens and bee hives are at the farm with plans to one day set up stables for rescue/retired horses. You can find Hillier Farm eggs and honey locally at markets and you can also put in an order and collect them right from the farm! Just hit them up on Facebook or Instagram to put in an order!
