Born in Sydney, grew up in Melbourne. After Completing a degree in Agricultural Science spent 10 years in PNG. Met my Kiwi wife there. On returning to Australia joined the staff at Roseworthy Agricultural College (now Roseworthy Campus of the University of Adelaide) where I taught for 28 Years. Still hold a visiting position with Adelaide University. Live at Bibaringa near Gawler. Scout leader for over 25 years. Justice of the Peace.
