Theodore (Ted) Gerhard Graue. Mr. Graue opened the business in Murray Street in 1898. He is fifth from right in the picture alongside. Mr. Graue married Louise Clara Kurtz, daughter of Johann Wilhelm Kurtz, at Rosenthal (now known as Rosedale) Lutheran Church on 14th October 1900.

His father, Johann Carl Graue was also a saddler. Theodore also sold hardware and was an agent for agricultural machinery.

Theodore and Louise are buried in Willaston Cemetery.
