MAY - SWIFT. - On the 26th February, by special license, at the residence of the bride's father, Moonta Mines, by the Rev. T. Jarrett, Mr Joseph May, to Eliza Swift, daughter of Mr Joseph Swift, of Moonta Mines. 1

OBITUARY.
Mr. Joseph May.
Mr. Joseph May, who died at Gawler on Nov. 2, was born at Truro, Cornwall, 78 years ago, and came to Australia with four brothers. Of the party he was the next to the eldest. For some years he worked in the Moonta and Wallaroo Mines, and later was an employee in the firm of May Brothers, of Gawler (of which his brothers were the proprietors) for 30 years. Mr. Joseph May retired two years ago. His wife died three years since, and there are three surviving sons and four daughters. 2
Joseph May purchased 27 Adelaide Road in 1893.3
